Lynn’s legislative races

In the 9th Essex House district, which includes two Lynn precincts, Lynn voters favored Democrat Peter Meaney over Republican Rep. Donald Wong, 1,470 to 1,283. The district also covers voters outside Lynn, so these numbers don’t decide the race on their own.

Lynn’s other races on the ballot were uncontested: state Sen. Brendan Crighton (17,151 votes in Lynn), Reps. Daniel Cahill, Sean Reid and Jennifer Armini in their Lynn precincts, Governor’s Councillor Terrence Kennedy, District Attorney Paul Tucker and Register of Probate Pamela Casey O’Brien.
